Business Outlook
Pros
Most of the people I work directly with are good people. There is not a whole lot of drama, contention, or backstabbing. The company provides access to fairly good training material.
Cons
The workload is intense. Scrum methodology is exhausting. They have self-managed PTO, but you will never take any because work is full throttle all the time. The company (especially the parent company Intact) has embraced ESG and pushes certain woke ideologies. Certain minorities are given unfair advantage so they can tout their DEI metrics. There are too many managers and not enough people doing the real work.
