This place used to be a great place to work before the buyout. Now, they simply don’t care anymore. It is 100% an ‘us vs. them’ environment when it comes to associates & management. Favoritism runs rampant and is completely unchecked. People are promoted based on who they know in management. There is absolutely no career development happening, in fact I believe most managers don’t want you to move up - they want you to stay exactly where you are. Questioning anything that upper management is doing will make you a target. When the union organization attempt was happening, the bare minimum was done to placate associates, and once the union was no longer a threat they abandoned any efforts they had been making to try to better things. People who make sexual harassment complaints are told to shut up and the sexual harassers are just shuffled to different departments. It’s a very toxic environment.
