Pros

Weekly pay, offers around 2x minimum wage, hires without formal interviews, set schedule, account managers are decent human beings. Archaic points system is seldom enforced.

Cons

Coaches are the worst, vary from benign and clueless to rude to outright psychopaths. Pretty sure you have to be a horrible person with no leadership experience common sense or basic communication skills to be a coach. Coaches treat Temps like prisoners or job corps students--with constant hostility condescension and suspicion. Environment is demoralizing. Associates have no names on their badges and are identified solely by RFID. Holiday attendance bonuses were withheld and only given to eligible associates after a delay during which associates had to inquire about their eligibility when promised automatic payments were not sent--ISS banking on associates assuming that lack of payment meant they were somehow ineligible. Associates cannot convert to permanent positions with the client company (AEO) for extreme lengths of time--often temping for anywhere from six months to over a year before ISS and AEO allow conversion and only then performance takes a back seat to "attitude".

The company genuinely cares about its people, invests in professional development, and encourages teamwork. I especially appreciate the commitment to serving clients while putting associates first, creating a positive environment where everyone can succeed.

Cons

Like most staffing companies, the work can be fast-paced and demanding, especially during peak hiring periods. Priorities can shift quickly, so flexibility and adaptability are important. Additional resources during high-volume seasons would help reduce workload.
