Pros

Great staff and fellow co workers that work hard. Learned a lot from a start up perspective of what not to do.

Cons

Loss of team environment and providing clients what they need esp up and coming businesses. Absolutely not motivating and lacking ethical standards for any start up to go above and beyond and succeed to grow as a team and business.

Pros

The pay is good, and the all-remote setup is ideal. Because the team is small, we have the opportunity to take true ownership of projects and see the direct results of our work. The best part of the job is the people. Everyone is genuinely kind and supportive.

Cons

The recent acquisition means some aspects are still in flux. However, leadership is being transparent, and the initial changes have been clear improvements.

Pros

The jobs are fully remote.

Cons

The company isn't doing well financially preventing them from giving out raises. Each year a few people receive a raise and the ones who do not never get told they will not be receiving one. Upper management looks the other way when middle management doesn't do what is expected. Certain people get away with saying, "That's not my job." while others are expected to pick up a large amount of slack. Certain managers are completely insulated. Customer retention is becoming poor and few new customers are coming onboard. This is because support staff was greatly reduced and people sit on issues and take longer than needed to resolve customer issues. Support staff is scared to escalate causing further delay. People can be disrespectful of your time and asking them not to be can get you into trouble if they are a manager or exec. The CEO told parents at an all hands meeting going forward - to join the early company all hands from their cars while they drive their kids to school. She said she did it so they can too. There is no 401k match. The company switched to an unlimited PTO system which means if you ever leave, you will not be paid for unused PTO. (Unsure if people hired before that policy receive pay for the hours they had before the new system.)
