Pros

- Company seems to be turning around, the worst should be behind Navistar - There are some opportunities to take more leadership due to high attrition - Good managers do exist, unfortunately there aren't enough - Nice fitness center at WHQ

Cons

- Some groups are getting raises and promotions, while others are not; thanks upper management - After "flattening" the organization, there are far fewer management positions available; most product development engineers report directly to chief engineers now - Non-competitive salaries - Average of 1-2 people leaving the company a day (as of early September 2013) - I know one manager who can't book a room in Outlook - "It makes good cents to print in black and white" signs are in every copy room, but ironically printed in color and laminated

Pros

- Has a cafeteria and Starbucks on site

Cons

- They are not a growing company, recently laid off about 400 people company wide due to financial reasons. There are more lay- offs to come. - There's no camaraderie, especially in Human Resources department. Everyone just goes right to there desk for 8 hours and then leaves for the day. No friendships or how was your weekend and, be aware, you will be thrown under the bus by others for them to get a leg up. - If you do not speak Spanish you will be terminated at some point. I was repeatedly told to start learning Spanish by my boss so she wouldn't have to speak English. I would also be in meetings where my boss and other coworker would start speaking Spanish knowing I couldn't understand what they were discussing and they would get annoyed when I would ask if they could speak in English during our meetings.
