Pros
Family oriented - people on the team genuinely care about each other Employee focused - very committed to employees and willing to do what it takes to Engaged staff - everyone wants to perform their role well, not a lot of boat anchors or saboteurs Tailored roles - the company is built around the employees, their goals, and their capabilities; not the other way around Quality focused - take the time to do it right Willing to do the right thing - even if it isn't the easy thing Great office space, private offices for nearly all employees, sit/stand desks if you want one, willing to provide training resources at their expense, regular company-wide events.
Cons
Growth challenges - a desire to grow, but a lack of systems to support the growth No major competitors - with no major competitors in the marketplace, many of the pressures that sharpen the mind and lead to tough decisions that companies have to make to stay ahead aren't mandatory here, which can create stagnation Too many "priorities" from too many places - the company need to work on determining what matters and what doesn't, and then communicate that clearly across all levels
