Pros

Excellent office environment/floorspace with individual offices for nearly all employees, good IT tools and security, above average amenities and onsite perks [breakroom/kitchen, building gym & cafe, covered garage, etc], flexible work hours with up to 3 days working from home, competitive salary and benefits package. Competent and thoughtful upper management that is invested in the long term success of the company, and high levels of staff integrity across departments.

Cons

Depending on position, limited room for career growth due to company being on the smaller side. In my role, work hours are longer than advertised [37.5 hrs week], but there are some weeks where this is achievable, and flexible work hours/arrangements helps offset this downside as well. That said, definitely more pros than cons, and other positive reviews can safely be given benefit of the doubt.

Pros

IRMI has a genuinely collaborative culture where people care about the mission and each other. Leadership encourages cross-department collaboration and continuous improvement, and there’s meaningful work tied directly to the success of conferences and educational products. The organization is relatively small, so you can see the impact of your contributions quickly and have access to leadership.

Cons

Like many growing organizations, there can be periods of change and shifting priorities, especially with evolving leadership and strategic initiatives. Communication during transitions can sometimes be improved to ensure alignment across teams.

Pros

Voted one of the best small businesses to work for in DFW multiple years. Hybrid environment with only 2 days a week in office. Really good work/life balance.

Cons

While upward movement might be limited, the ability to grow your skills within your role is not.
