Pros
They'll hire you. High turnover, lowish compensation means they always have jobs to fill. VERY laid back atmosphere...low stress environment, which I really like.
Cons
No 401K match, below-market salaries, promotions seem based on whether the CEO likes you personally, lots of senior roles filled with relatively junior people. Zero career mentoring. No feedback, no goals, no nothing. Most people stay on for 6-12 months, realize the company is a dud, and move on. Those who stay tend to be the 'blessed' superstars, or people not competent enough to find work elsewhere.
