Pros

* Phenomenal peers - you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most intelligent and talented individuals in your field * Autonomous work atmosphere - allows employees to be creative in finding solutions to problems * Rewarding work - amazing place to learn about the e-commerce industry at the highest levels * Great management - you will learn several new things from top management since there will be lots of exposure and interaction with them * Awesome location - El Segundo, CA; you can see the beach from our building

Cons

* Rigorous hiring process - You may have to go through 2 or 3 different rounds of interviews for higher-level positions. Meeting with the recruiter, the team, hiring manager, VP's, and C-level execs. This might not be much of a CON in the long-run though.

Pros

At FindLaw, a division of Internet Brands, they do a good job of hiring people and the lower-level managers treat you with respect. When you get laid off, they do offer a severance package.

Cons

Internet Brands is a company that is in business only to make money. They pay lip service to developing talent and promoting from within, but do not actually sponsor any programs within the company to achieve this. Since purchasing FindLaw in December 2024, we have conducted several rounds of layoffs, with U.S. writers being let go and replaced by writers in Mexico and Manila who are trained in AI and paid less. The fact that their maximum 401K match is .75% (not a misprint, less than 1%) tells you everything you need to know about how little they value their employees.
