Pros

Interesting line of work with the testing

Cons

Where to begin? Keep reading all the reviews. This is by far the worst company I have ever worked for. I am a professional, management level employee so I am ashamed that I let myself work for a company that has no regard for it's employees. Enforcing office employees to work in the office during COVID and last year when Chicago had the worst winter and the mayor was asking everyone to stay home, we were told to make sure we had gas in our cars and warm blankets for our drive in. There is a non-stop revolving door with all the qualified, hard workers leaving while upper management and HR act like deer in the headlights. No communication or organization amongst the various divisions and departments. Managers step over one another without any consideration for ethics or quality. If your manager doesn't like you or you say something "out of line" you will be terminated without any notice or corrective action. One employee was recently let go while they were battling a serious illness yet still working full time to keep the company stable. The person was given no notice and worst yet, their health insurance was cancelled the same day despite management and HR knowing of this persons medical condition and disability. This is a horrible company, I would rather give up my degree and years of experience and go flip burgers somewhere rather than put up with this chaos!

Pros

Good group of people in local office.

Cons

Stuck in the past. Unwilling to consider updating methods or procedures. "We've done it this way for 30 years and it has worked." Sales relies upon project engineers to do most of their work for them. When volume of work is slow that becomes the engineers responsibility to go find new clients. Can't reliably pay the most basic of utility bills on time. I've seen the power cut off 2x and the gas this past winter.
