      Pros

      Great people to work with in the local team. Opportunities to learn scientific techniques. Parts of the job are very interesting.

      Cons

      Major decisions are made by corporate offices overseas by people you have never met who just treat us as another entry on the budget spreadsheet. This leads to understaffing and constantly being overworked and pulled in many directions. Constantly adding more responsibilities without more compensation. Wages for some are much lower than they should be.

      Limited training when starting the role, Unclear expectations and communication from management, Asking questions felt discouraged at times, Lack of feedback before contract ended, Did not feel comfortable seeking clarification, Inconsistent expectations around independence, Workload could be slow with periods of downtime
