Pros

Not much to speak of. Some staff enjoyable to work with in the short time I was with them. PTO was decent (but all inclusive, sick, PT, VAC, etc.) Remote opportunities if that's your desire.

Cons

Where to start..... VERY poor HR interaction from day1 (FIRST and only contact was when someone filed an erroneous complaint without an prior discussion) Direct line SPV was IMPOSSIBLE to work with and did nothing but "gaslight" for two months straight (leading up to formal HR notice). HR had no interest in addressing the gaslighting harassments and sided with complainant stating "they are your manager....." Onboarding was HORRIFIC and after 2 months STILL never explained the org structure/reporting/role-respons., etc for the specific expectations of the role. HR had no interest in ensuring your benefits were offered/selected through 3rd party system ADP and stated "it was in your offer letter that you had 30 days to complete" If you reached-out to anyone outside your immediate SPV you would get ghosted. IF you have ambition, ask questions, and are "knowledge-seeking" id suggest you RUN! IF on the other hand, you can go with the flow, don't mind trying to fit in to a COMPLETELY disorganized and mismanaged operating system, then learn what you can and THEN RUN!!! Starting salary is WELL below market if you have experience and benefits are subpar with medical ins being the WORST!

Pros

Good group of people in local office.

Cons

Stuck in the past. Unwilling to consider updating methods or procedures. "We've done it this way for 30 years and it has worked." Sales relies upon project engineers to do most of their work for them. When volume of work is slow that becomes the engineers responsibility to go find new clients. Can't reliably pay the most basic of utility bills on time. I've seen the power cut off 2x and the gas this past winter.
