Cons
One word: Leadership. The "heart" of Intuit is in Tucson - in other words the support for the company. In California where the company is headquartered the values of honesty, direct communication, and feedback are critical to the development of cutting edge software. These models are given lip service in support, but in reality the support organization is highly political and expects those lower in the chain to always support the concepts that people above them come up with - even if those concepts are flawed or wrong. This is to the point of people literally claiming things to be true that have been proven false. It's institutional Trumpism - and it occurs because under qualified people are hanging on for dear life to job titles they were lucky to obtain. This fear of failure leads to a culture of delusion, political backstabbing and downright fear. This review is based on Tucson Intuit only -- no idea what it's like in California or elsewhere with this company.
