Pros

- Top notch compensation - Great well being benefits - Reasonable work-life balance if you have a good manager

Cons

Most orgs within Intuit have horrific codebases. If the org trying to hire you has a 'monolith' (if they don't tell you, insist and ASK!)and you're trying to explore and learn new technologies, RUN AWAY! Far and fast. It is a nightmare to deal with. You would seldom get an opportunity to learn something new. I would STRONGLY suggest inexperienced new graduates who are ambitious to start their career here. There is a high likelihood of you not being able to learn best practices. The compensation is great but is definitely not worth flattening your learning curve. You would want to gain as much as you can when you are in the early stages of your career. Even if you weren't looking to learn, it's definitely NOT fun to deal with the tech here at Intuit. It's needlessly complicated and terribly written.

Pros

Amazing benefits and good people

Cons

Culture has shifted drastically. The expectation now is do more for less. What used to be above and beyond is now just achieving expectations. You're expected to absorb the work of everyone let go. You do 4 peoples' jobs, but the concept of promotions or pay raises is out of the question. Trust from customers and employees toward leaders is completely broken. The only prosperity being powered is the prosperity of shareholders and investors.
