Pros

Most positions at Intuit pay well, and the benefits are wonderful. We have excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage. But we also have a gym reimbursement, free onsite fitness trainers, annual onsite health services like blood donations and mammograms, and an amazing Wellness Fair. We also have fun events throughout the year, ranging from Office Olympics to semi-formal parties. We can take advantage of flexible hours, allowing us to avoid bad commuting times, and scheduling vacation time is also never a problem.

Cons

Empoyees of Intuit cannot make long-term plans for the future because job stability is so low due to this company going through so many changes so often. Any action that requires a financial commitment (buying a house or new car, getting married, having kids) feels extremely risky. Certain career paths offer little to no room for growth or advancement because positions are either disappearing or moving overseas.

Pros

Used to be a good company. Good people from that era that haven’t left yet or been laid off. Free coffee from baristas featuring local roasteries

Cons

Quite possibly one of the worse run companies. Last minute changes to appease the CEO, interlocks on interlocks with no one knowing who is leading and expecting finance to know everything, overly reliant on finance to make up for other teams’ lack, recent leadership and manager hires have been subpar and asking far too much of their employees. Everyone is burnt out. No more smiles. If the job market wasn’t a problem, I doubt many would still be there
