Pros
Benefits at Intuit are about on average for a tech company, nothing to complain about regarding insurance or retirement plans. Everyone I've worked with has been genuine and kind. Leadership seems to acknowledge shortcomings and failures.
Cons
Generally the 'problems' at Intuit are more systematic, and I don't think it's fair to attribute them to any one individual, or set of individuals. From my experience, there is an astounding amount of red tape that gets in the way of being able to do meaningful work – this limits my business unit's ability to innovate. I spend more time going through request and approval processes than I ever have at any company (including roles in state government). Speed to decision making also seems to move at a glacial pace. If you're looking for a 'fast paced' environment, this is probably not the right organization for you. Intuit definitely feels like a 38 year old company. I've seen a lot of my peers leave the company at a higher rate than expected (even during the "Great Resignation"). It's disheartening to see so much long term talent leave the organization. I don't have a sense of what Intuit's corporate culture is, and how I fit in to it.
