Pros
Good work life balance. We care give back.
Cons
Culture: Strong culture and traditions make it difficult for new hires and acquired company's to assimilate in the culture and grow their careers. What was a strength is turning into a corporate hierarchy and messy politics. One mistake will cost you your career. Be careful who you trust and make sure you look, sound, talk as everyone else or you will not fit in or be liked, regardless of your ideas and performance. Leadership: Leaders love to pasture and protect their friends even at the cost of the company. Leaders say they solve for employees but in reality they solve for the company and shareholders and often employees are left to fend for themselves. Promotions are given by tenure and friendship vs performance and skill set. The tenure leadership tries to undermine newcomers to ensure they stay ahead. Every July the company has major layoffs but instead of impacting groups that are under performing the executive team protects their own. Annual surveys are not valued anymore and often are manipulated anyway to ensure leadership is viewed positively regardless of their performance and capabilities. Customers: The company is shifting their focus away from customer service to keep competitive. What was a company that cares for customers has drifted away. Support has slowly been removed or moved overseas. Products: Are average at best. Slow to improve. Focus is all about 3rd party apps vs making the core products better. Acquisitions have failed.
