Pros
I was wary of taking a part-time role with such a big company, but what a mistake it would've been to pass up the opportunity!! I have only worked for the company since August 2024, but they have treated me like a valued & appreciated member of the team since day 1. 1) Excellent training for new associates & continued training & professional development opportunities constantly 2) Fair pay for the role, excellent benefits including 401k match, PTO, insurance, charitable contribution match...even for part time employees 3) Additional $$ rewards and incentives regularly, as well as fun little gifts and swag that just arrive in the mail sometimes! 4) Work-from-home role is unbelievably well suited to me-- I have the camaraderie and support of a remote team, but I have the autonomy and independence of working alone from my cozy home 5) Expectations are clearly set & I know what my goals are with the company 6) A company whose culture & values I support and feel proud of working for 7) Excellent work/life balance-- schedule is flexible, and when you're off, you're off! Nobody bothers you after hours 8) Awesome opportunities for growth within the company 9) Every day is a little bit different in the QB Live Assisted space-- it keeps things interesting 9) Fulfilling work-- I feel like I contribute daily to the success of small business owners all over the country. I love supporting their goals!
Cons
1) Only potential con I can think of is you have to be willing to adapt to occasional changes in technology, as this is a tech company and is always striving to make things work better and more efficiently! Just go into it with that expectation, and then there are no cons.
