Pros

I interviewed at Intuitive (Intuitive Surgical), accepted the offer and had a very positive interview experience. The executive recruiter I worked with, Ken, really made me feel valued and that he genuinely cared about me. He was proactively and consistently providing me updates and was always available to answer my questions. He made me feel like I was the only candidate he was working with. I also had the opportunity to meet with multiple people from various backgrounds and functions and had great discussions. They made me feel at home the whole time and answered all my questions during the process. Intuitive spends a lot time evaluating both the fit for the role and the culture which was great to see as this is so important. This was overall one of the most professional and well-handled interview processes I have experienced. Meeting scheduling and coordination was extremely efficient, professional and very well organized. A really great experience - thank you to the Intuitive Surgical team. I can't wait to get started.

Cons

Pros

- Employee stock purchasing - great resume builder and experience

Cons

-leadership, the culture from when I started to now has shifted. If you are not one of the chosen few, there will be little opportunity for advancement. - If you question management they likely won't listen and you maybe tagged as not a 'team player' or that you have a poor attitude. - the company has done a poor job of reevaluating mature markets, the expectations for a highly penetrated area are the same as less penetrated markets. - Majority of leaders are men with stay at home spouses, take that information however you want to
