Pros

It is a great company to work for as a young person or for someone late in their career. They always look for other jobs to place you into to help grow your career, but also when contracts do not win recompetes. They try to avoid laying anyone off if contracts dry up and they did a good job of moving people around whenever that did happen.

Cons

Not a great place for a mid-career person looking for upward mobility into a supervisory role. There is just not enough middle management/supervisor roles to go around. I was with the company for 11 years and was "promoted" with several pay raises each time I moved to a new position here but no were to non-supervisory positions. They spent too much time trying to broaden my skills rather than advance my skills upwards.

Pros

Great culture, great people, great leadership. Company puts on many events for its employees to mingle and feel valued throughout the year. Pay is good, benefits are great. Truly a great company

Cons

Not as flexible for working parents in Huntsville since mandatory return to office with no routine hybrid work unless you're in management. Some managers telework and some functional groups are allowed to telework. And some aren't. It just depends on your manager and your functional group. No sick leave but sometimes they'll let you telework if you're sick so you don't have to use PTO. Would be good to have separate sick time as performance varies when under the weather. But since you can only carry 2 weeks over into each new year it's hard to accrue sick time since you don't want to burn your PTO.

Pros

I like pretty much everyone there, and genuinely feel my superiors care about me. Even the CEO takes the time to personally meet every new employee.

Cons

Benefits could be better, particularly regarding PTO.
