Pros
- 3 days from the office / 2 from home - You pick the days you want to be in - Office parking occasionally - Office parking access 24/7 in central Leeds (excellent for nights and weekends) - Office open 24/7 - Salary sacrifice Scheme with 10% match - EV scheme for people who make £24,500 and above - 50% discount for financial advice to employees - x8 death in service insurance - Income protection - Private medical health insurance (optional, and you only pay the tax element) - Same with Dental plans - £30 gym subsidy per month - Enhanced maternity leave (I think it's 6 months) - Mental health assistance 24/7 - AXA 24/7 GP access - Highly inclusive environment and highly Diverse with it being a South African bank in origin. - Understanding and support in progression conversations
Cons
- No clear progression pathways - each person must carve their own path inside the company - London advisers and their teams are notoriously difficult to deal with and speak with - The CEO can send a general email with no recourse as has happened with the WFH situation: from now on, we work a minimum of 3 days. - Parking isn't guaranteed - advisers and clients, understandably - have priority. But the roster is done as fairly as can be - For most people in the Admin team, it's either just a job or a stepping stone to Paraplanning/Advisory. This creates a nucleus of people who have been there a while and a highly changing composition for the other.
