Pros

- No limits on learning and taking initiative. You can learn as much as you want to. You are allowed and encouraged to ask others how things work, so you get a good breadth of knowledge - Culture of ownership. Your job is your responsibility- no one is checking on you, you're expected to an adult and take responsibility.

Cons

- Unfortunately a culture of white males is still very much in place. They are forcing some changes now, but bottom line is, white males believe in and look out for other white males. - There are no lines on where a job begins and ends, so a job only grows in magnitude unless you have the strength of character to stop it. - Pay is below average. There are definite prejudices in play as well.

there was little training for the intern position, so come prepared with some finance skills, just the basics
