Pros
- Great team and well established company. - Well looked after through COVID and my maternity. - Good pay package. - I have worked remotely for the past 2 and a half years which has been a huge help with a young family and a husband who travels frequently. - Good perks in terms of an annual bonus and provident fund contribution.
Cons
Post COVID they require all employees to go in to the office 3 times a week. I live far from work which would mean 2 - 3 hours a day in traffic. It also means my cost of travel will increase. My husband travels a lot and I require a bit more flexibility. I am currently on strict working hours linked to a call centre and I don't have a lot of flexibility in my day in also run the house and manage my girls days. We also have to commit to 1 week a month on after hours which is an emergency call service to our clients where you need to be ready available for 7 days at any hour in case of emergencies. I find this extremely difficult with 2 young girls and a husband who travels. I do love working from home / remotely, but I do also miss the bit of team comradery and face to face interactions with clients / colleagues. I am hoping to venture away from travel. I love sales, but I do feel that my time in travel is coming to an end.
