Pros

Other contractors are incredible. Your peers here will be some of the brightest people you've met in your life.

Cons

Projects at this company may end with little notice, leaving employees in an uncertain position. While there is an internal system for finding new projects, it can be frustrating to use due to outdated and inactive listings, which diminish its reliability. There appears to be a lack of consistent support for employees who go above and beyond. For instance, I observed situations where individuals who volunteered to help with additional tasks found themselves unable to return to their original roles, leading to challenges in securing new assignments later. Advancement within the company often feels tied more to personal connections than to skills or experience. This can be discouraging for employees who work hard and demonstrate merit but are passed over for less qualified candidates. Training processes vary significantly across projects, with some being well-structured while others feel rushed and incomplete. This inconsistency can make onboarding and skill development unnecessarily difficult. In terms of management, there seems to be a disconnect between leadership and the day-to-day experiences of employees. Communication often lacks professionalism, and it can be challenging to feel genuinely supported. While I lucked out by having an amazing QA Lead who frequently went above and beyond, they were an outlier. Additionally, there are limited pathways to showcase skills across projects, meaning employees frequently need to rebuild their reputations and prove themselves repeatedly. Full-time employees are prioritized for promotions and mobility, but the company will not provide job security for these employees. After a project ends, it is likely that those same employees will be left in the dust. Overall, while the pay is competitive for entry-level roles, the lack of stability, transparency, and consistent support makes it difficult to see long-term growth here. Employees seeking advancement and fair recognition of their contributions may find better opportunities elsewhere.
