Pros
You aren’t completely destitute, because at least you have a job. You have a ton of people to vent to about how much life sucks at ClubCorp, because everyone club level pretty much knows the company is a joke.
Cons
Pay is very minimal vs. the astronomical amount of work you have. The company has been stuck in the past for years. Now that they are finally trying to join the rest of the world in 2018, they have too many interfacing issues and can’t keep up with the changes (nor do they even know how to implement them correctly). Promotions, raises and who likes you is dependent upon who you know and what you do for them. No sense of communication. Corporate motto is, “yell and degrade now, maybe ask questions later - but probably not because that would actually require calling or emailing someone back.” If you like working harder, not smarter, this is your place! The company, as a whole, is an HR nightmare. However, there is no required HR presence essentially anywhere. All systems are centralized to corporate, but the unfortunate thing is that 95% of the people there know about as much as a 2nd grader knows about running a business. World leader in private clubs? More like world leader in con artists! If you want to sell your soul to the devil, live our your days in misery, or would just rather not participate in any sort of ethical business practices, LOOK NO FURTHER! YOU’VE FOUND YOUR NEW HOME! Capital? Who needs capital investments when it’s cheaper to slap a new coat of paint on everything! If you’re a vendor considering doing business with any ClubCorp property - think again. You may or may not get paid. Forget about training for anything - they don’t even know how to train you anymore. Medical Insurance - You’ll pay at least $120 per month for a $20K out of pocket max deductible and they still don’t even cover you at even 80%. You don’t get ANY vacation until you’ve been there for a year. (And they think that’s normal!)
