      Pros

      Close work relationships, office environment is geared towards close friendships and interoffice entertainments, or used to be. But then Ivanti last year, 2019, cut budget and we were no longer able to enjoy gatherings to have that break from the day any more. Typically these were quarterly with a small monthly celebration for birthdays and work anniversaries.

      Cons

      Compensation is too low for our role. The two renewal roles are too diverse and leaves some of the team members overwhelmed, overworked, underpaid, and constantly under threat of being put on "plan" because they cannot meet the quota. This role has to many accounts that should be transactional, but are not. The other role, if you do not renew a very large deal, it is impossible to make quota, with no way to cover the loss. No more quarterly team rewards for making/exceeding quota. Required to be in the office with no remote days allowed.

      Pros

      Great people. Good benefits and pay. Lots of opportunities for growth. Interesting projects. Great work life balance due to the ability to work remotely.

      Cons

      A lot of leadership changes recently which can cause for uncertainty as the new leaders are figuring out the company and how they want to move forward.

      Pros

      Flexibility of schedule, PTO is good

      Cons

      Code base is a dumpster fire. The majority of the team is in India and the engineers there don't really care or know anything about writing good code. Management is screaming AI, AI, AI and expecting a huge increase in productivity but meanwhile I'm fighting my environment every day because someone has broken master with their crappy code.
