Pros

- PTO - health insurance - absolutely loved my co-workers & patients but upper management was stressful.

Cons

- !!!POOR MANAGEMENT!!! -my company recently got acquired and it got so much worse -DO NOT LISTEN TO JOB DESCRIPTIONS - make it seem great but it is the total opposite. - VERY HIGH turn over rate -no work-life balance: say they are “one Ivy” but only values quantity of offices - values quantity over quality of care - relies on new graduate hires - lower compensation -poor compensation - poor communication and organization - no one knows the answer to anything -very high productivity = therapist burn out = high turn over rate -minimal to no documentation time -only ever talk about filling cancels and therapist/office metrics -low annual raise -poor organization of training new employees with EMR system, etc. - does not value employees -patients are treated as dollar signs and not physical people -billing department is a mess -monthly office budget is poor -monthly bonus is so little it’s not even worth the effort to fill your schedule.

Pros

High base salary , remote , some job security based on people always quitting

Cons

Burnout central. Constantly shifting priorities, moving timelines, and unclear expectations create a chaotic environment where it is difficult to succeed sustainably. Leadership within the finance umbrella was disappointing — limited trust, poor support, and a culture where people can feel expendable when private equity pressure intensifies. Compensation and benefits were underwhelming relative to expectations, particularly the 401(k) match, which was far below market and frankly disappointing. There was also a persistent atmosphere of distrust, frequent organizational uncertainty, and seemingly random layoffs that contributed to low morale. Rather than feeling supported, it often felt like self-preservation was the operating model. There are talented people here and meaningful work, but leadership, burnout, and instability significantly outweighed the positives for me.
