Pros
Highly visible owners who know the business inside out, and know the names of every employee. Lots of opportunity to work on different projects. The company cared about camaraderie, balance. Highly qualified, very intelligent professionals across the board. Lots of boomeranging employees. I could be convinced to be one of them. Good bonuses, a share of work won.
Cons
If you don't live within 10 miles or so, your commute will SUCK! I mean really SUCK. It was a major reason I left, but I have some regrets about that. Some describe the company as very silo'd, but I got to do a lot of cross-disciplinary work. Everything, however, was teamwork. Most of the time that's great, but so many hands in a project makes it slow down. PTO is substandard. Pay calendar was absurd. I can't even describe it, it's not semi-monthly, every other week, some other weird crap.
