Pros
Opportunity to advance and gain responsibility, as long as you're paired with the right mentors and staff, and as long as you're willing to work hard and take the initiative.
Cons
As contract went on, some staff had less of a team mindset---this led to longer hours for leadership staff. Client rules changed making it more difficult to complete requested tasks in the required timeframe--requests for additional support were not optimally met. Also, extremely long hours were the expectation--especially in managerial roles. Work-life balance is preached, but rarely practiced. When project came to an early close, very little interest and effort was given in placing existing leadership on roles in other projects.
