Business Outlook
Pros
Work does not require mental strain
Cons
Management only cares about getting icaps (credit applications), to the point that the managers and supervisors resort to coercing/harassing customers into applying for them. They ask for your availability but will schedule you when you aren't available; then write you up as a "failure to report" even after you've told them you can't work at a certain time. The pay is low and the hours are inconsistent. One week you'll have 30 hours, the next, maybe 19; which makes it hard to count on a normal paycheck. Even though you are supposed to legally get at least a 15 minute break during your shift, no one is there to relieve your spot and management is annoyed when you ask for one. But hey, it's retail.
