Pros
Employees get a pretty good discount, but it's only helpful IF you like to shop at JCP. There are a couple of high-ranking individuals within the organization who are kind and care about the well-being of employees.
Cons
This was easily the worst job I have ever had. Employees face impossible expectations at every level. Cashiers are given a set goal for opening up new credit card accounts, but people really don't want a credit card from JCP. Anyone at the manager level has the responsibility of multiple positions all looped into one. Pay is very low, even for retail, and there is no opportunity to advance.
