Pros
Sephora is wonderful, Jcpenney is terrible. Each location varies but consistency is not there. I happened to work in an unfortunate location.
Cons
If you're someone who loves Sephora or truly values artisty and quality, my suggestion would be to steer away from sijcp and work for freestanding Sephora. Every location is different but across the board jcp Sephora does not hold the same standards or educational resources that Sephora freestanding does, and this is very frustrating. The jcp influence is what is responsible for this and the partnership should have never happened. Like I said, not all locations are bad, and there are some great, talented girls working for sijcp, but this is not the norm.
