      Pros

      All of the employees are friendly and caring, making it feel like one big family. Most of the employees do stuff with each other outside of work, which grows the bond between employees even more. JCPenny treats their employees very well, and creates a friendly and fun work environment.

      Cons

      From what I have heard, JCPenny rarely gives raises unless you are moving to a higher position.

      Laid back work, nice people to work with.

      Sales driven. There doesn't seem to be much training on how they want the cashiers to do their job.

      easy job, slow most of the time, need to be able to find things to do to keep busy

      when its slow you are barely scheduled for hours, need to get credit card applications
