Pros

30% Discount (not allowed on Yeezys or Fear of God) Semi Flexible with the schedule. Some managers can be cool, despite the many employees they remembered names, granted it is their job to know who's in everyday and whatnot.

Cons

They hype you up saying working in the flagship is great because of the unique uniform and higher pay, but it's only 75 cents over minimum wage. Absolutely no hours, 4 or 8 hours a week is the norm. Despite this they give you trouble when you try to communicate availability in order to make JD work with a second job. Constantly broke Covid protocols. Masks not enforced on employees or customers, even with signs saying masks must be worn in-store. Calls almost daily saying an employee contracted covid during my shift and saying I'm okay work even if said employee was in my floor/zone. Health checks they were supposed to do were never done. No growth. Part time employees are told to "keep grinding" in order to get more than 8 hours a week. No hours means you do not get any of the benefits, like healthcare, roth 401k, etc. Feels like company gives so little hours in order to not give said benefits. Favoritism. Managers and their favorite employees will say no chatting on a dead day, but turn around and chat for 10 straight minutes or even be on their phones. Training is abysmal. Just a video/test thing that spends an uncomfortable amount of time on it encouraging employes NOT to start or join a union. HR was on our necks to hurry up with the videos/test and she told us to just skip thru it. Manager then belittles employees when asking a question saying we "should know this from training, but you all just skip it". Way too much micromanaging, especially when they see the corporate employees visit. When one employee gets in trouble they berate everybody. You do not get any special access to "hot product". You also can only purchase "hot product" via employee raffle, even if there is leftover unless the item is a "brick". You cannot enter their app raffle, meaning you get one chance and their no telling how honest that employee raffle is. Was denied an item sitting on the shelf once. Leftover pairs tend to magically disappear. Managers do tend hit on every hot item and apparently hide some of these items in their office space. Made me cancel a small trip I had book months prior saying time off was not allowed, that week they barely used me. No respect for my time. Only time I was asked if I wanted to work more was day of when people called off or a night before when a manager had to clean or do some undesirable task. I had open availability, there's no reason this should happen. They encourage you not to take your 15 minute breaks, or even 30 minute lunch on the few times I actually got a shift with a lunch break. Management can be petty. Upon my resignation they gave a newer employee full time hours. No communication among staff, even among management. One manager will say one thing, another would say the opposite and call you out. Break room is filthy. Footwear managers/supervisors were cool - things considered, but the apparel managers were disrespectful and saw you as a pawn. Did not acknowledge your existence, say hello, or even look at you when they would tell you to scan an item. Can't even recall getting a thanks from them.
