Pros

As an employee for 9 years, JGM does a great job of going out and securing work. High profile jobs and complex fabrication keeps things interesting for fabricators and welders, and a clean, organized shop makes our jobs easier. Overtime is always available as well as the opportunity to learn and become knowledgable in other areas of the shop.

Great team environment Fair pay Opportunity for experience in multiple crafts Long term project potential

Cons

No benefits for temp workers until 7 months of service Ownership and upper management vision for the company does not coincide with retaining valuable talent long term Communications between office and field is lacking Personal relationships with the right people will dictate how far you go with this group. Not necessarily merit or skill.
