Pros

It is so refreshing to work in a place with positive associates and an overall great culture. Tone at the top is amazing. Great communication from the top on down through management and their associates. My stress level has decreased in a big way after I made the move to JM. It is a family friendly company with reasonable healthcare premiums for a family, they keep working (and breastfeeding) moms in mind when designing their work spaces, and they have generous paid time off. They encourage healthy eating with affordable on-site cafes that have great menu options. They have begun flexible work (time and place) arrangements in select departments. They also have an on-site family center run by a good third party daycare company. Very little they could do to improve. Great job!

Cons

They offer paid maternity leave of 12 weeks, but competitive employers offer more. I think JM could step it up in this area.

Pros

JM provides good opportunities for the range of professional corporate occupations available in South Florida.

Cons

Too much "get along, go along" culture which may be okay if one is planning to stay with JM through retirement, but is not helpful if one's career progression involves employment with other companies. As a rule, the best places I worked at encouraged creativity, systems thinking, adaptability, integrity, and trust. These values felt lacking during my six-month tenure at JM back in 2014.
