      Pros

      The culture! The benefits are great especially the flexible work arrangements, paid time off, profit sharing, 401k, annual incentive, pension, and onsite health and wellness centers. That is not an inclusive list of all the benefits but highlights some. In addition, the company has invested in two new campuses and continues to look to the future by finding ways to stay relevant in an everchanging market and diversifying by acquiring non automotive companies. D,E&I: Even though this continues to be an area of opportunity, the diversity, equity and inclusion efforts are being felt and the momentum has been good. I appreciate the attention this has been given and feel we need to continue to elevate in this area.

      Cons

      Benefits: Parental Leave should be changed to provide the same benefit for both moms and dads. The Short Term Disability one year waiting period should be reduced to 3 or 6 months for benefit eligibility. Leadership: there are leaders across the company that are not leading through the culture so even though they may get the results, the way they go about getting it, it less than optimal. Our culture is what makes us special and depending on what part of the company you work in, the associate experience is not the same.

      A hidden gem - the place everyone wants to work! Great benefits and culture, supportive teams.

      Cons

      Heavy work load and we move fast so every request is “urgent”

      Pros

      JM provides good opportunities for the range of professional corporate occupations available in South Florida.

      Cons

      Too much "get along, go along" culture which may be okay if one is planning to stay with JM through retirement, but is not helpful if one's career progression involves employment with other companies. As a rule, the best places I worked at encouraged creativity, systems thinking, adaptability, integrity, and trust. These values felt lacking during my six-month tenure at JM back in 2014.
