      Pros

      Pay above market, profit sharing, pension and 401k. Excellent culture where people actually take an interest in you as a person and truly care about you. Advancement opportunities for those that are willing to move laterally and try new roles. During the pandemic the company continued to pay everyone and we did not experience any layoffs or furloughs even when there was a shutdown. Executive leadership interacts with all levels of associates and visits off site locations. You might even see a executive pop into a virtual meeting to say hello.

      Cons

      Not many if you are open minded to new things.

      A hidden gem - the place everyone wants to work! Great benefits and culture, supportive teams.

      Pros

      JM provides good opportunities for the range of professional corporate occupations available in South Florida.

      Cons

      Too much "get along, go along" culture which may be okay if one is planning to stay with JM through retirement, but is not helpful if one's career progression involves employment with other companies. As a rule, the best places I worked at encouraged creativity, systems thinking, adaptability, integrity, and trust. These values felt lacking during my six-month tenure at JM back in 2014.
