Pros

Everyone knows about the JM benefits, they are pretty awesome. Really like how I get to meet many different types of people and work with high quality vendor partners. I’ve really learned a lot from them. Lots of unique problems that need to be solved everyday.

Cons

I’m concerned about this ‘future of it’ concept. It’s been going on for a looooong time. When do we start doing it? I also don’t really feel that the various levels in technology talk to each other. It feels that the high levels of leadership don’t really seem connected with the actual work - creates weirdness. Seems odd given the ‘family’ concept that this happens, but whatever.

Cons

Heavy work load and we move fast so every request is “urgent”

Pros

JM provides good opportunities for the range of professional corporate occupations available in South Florida.

Cons

Too much "get along, go along" culture which may be okay if one is planning to stay with JM through retirement, but is not helpful if one's career progression involves employment with other companies. As a rule, the best places I worked at encouraged creativity, systems thinking, adaptability, integrity, and trust. These values felt lacking during my six-month tenure at JM back in 2014.
