Not recommended - RN Per Diem Jackson Health System Employee Review

Every shift you are floated to a different dpt, no time for explanations just hit the floor running. One time I was floated to 3 different floors within 2 hrs of clocking in and taken my pt assignment… Insane. You always get the worse assignments. No help whatsoever from nursing staff or charge nurses other than to give you access to the Pyxis. Rarely I found friendly nurses, phlebotomist or CNA. I witness a lot of nurses eating their young. I was exhausted, drained and couldn’t take it anymore. I hated my profession because of this job.
