Pros

Working overseas the per diem was almost as much as my base salary and since I was out of the US the first 90k was tax free. work life balance was great if you didn't let your fellow coworkers get to you.

Cons

You never knew if your contract was going to be renewed so you didn't know if you'd be there another year, a lot of office politics, unfriendly and unprofessional coworkers **Never worked at the home office in Pasadena, so it could be different but as a project hire you pretty much feel like field trash

Pros

Decent culture, individual contributors are fine, management is lacking

Cons

The company operates like many smaller companies depending on which business market you are in so your experience will vary. For some, it's the best company, others will say it's the worst; it just depends on your region/group even at the local level. Water/wastewater is a good market in most offices, transportation is hit an miss depending on location.
