Pros

- Hard to get fired - People are impressed to hear you worked onsite at Kennedy Space Center

Cons

- Pay is low - Benefits are mediocre - Forced 50 hour weeks are common - Shift work is common - Work is far from cutting edge - Huge amounts of red tape required for small amounts of work - Zero accountability - Old Boys Club mentality - When you work on the Artemis Program you get to watch Spacex do everything you are doing faster, better, cheaper, and with a reusable rocket.

Pros

Love the culture and the people.

Cons

The health insurance no longer covers GLP-1 or other weight-loss related medications (specifically excludes them), which I find appalling. They did cover it, but then removed coverage for all company plans. The benefits of weight-loss and obesity-related medical coverage are so high for employers and yet Jacobs decided not to care about their employees who need them.
