Pros

- My direct manager, GM, and team are incredibly supportive

Cons

- New RTO and promotion hiatus policies are incredibly disruptive way. It's clear forced attrition and killing smaller games is the goal. So far, there has been nothing but chaos as a result of these decisions. - New CEO is dismissive of input and his new policies are creating loads of busy work - Morale is at an all time low - Lack of transparency from leadership about the direction of the company and what goals they want to achieve - Compensation not competitive, especially with RTO

Pros

- smart, creative people - fun IP

Cons

JC used to be an amazing place to work. High trust, inclusive, and accommodating. With new leadership all of that has been killed. If a company wants to call everyone back into the office, that is a business decision and I won't sit in judgement of it. But how you execute such a culture rattling and life impacting change MATTERS. Leadership has chosen the least ethical and empathetic path possible offering little notice, very few exceptions, zero financial support for relocation, and a big brother approach to monitoring in office attendance. Turnover has spiked including many of the top performing employees fleeing en mass. This appears part of leadership's plan to make working conditions so intolerable people quit so they don't have to execute a layoff. Along with new leadership has come a new excessive drinking culture. No joke! Drinking till all hours of the evening is the normal now in LA.
