Traditional culture, basically don't lay off employees; Very good benefits and care for their management trainee (JETs); A lot more freedom to pick up interesting industry/function/area compared to other MT programs; First 3 years will have an overseas attachment opportunity for you, after that you can get a management position based on your performance and interests.

Cons

Company has a long history therefore have some fixed mindset; I heard for basic employees the salary is not very high; Conservative style, low willingness of entering new industry/high-potential technology area, risk avoidance.

Incredibly diverse range of businesses and cultures. Strong family values and highly collegiate colleagues. Exceptional professional development, especially management and leadership development.

Cons

Huge (almost 500,000 employees), quite old fashioned in some ways and very relationship-based. Ambiguous relationship between businesses and between them and the corporate Centre.
