      Just the right amount of suffering without going completely insane, have your own cubicle, don't have to interact with others much

      Cons

      Below market pay, 100 hour weeks, hostile working environment, can't really compete with the bulge brackets

      Supportive firm-wide culture; competitive pay; surrounded by some of the smartest people you'll ever meet.

      Like most banking jobs, incredibly long hours. Group specific: culture can be poor / not well supported, poor organization / staffing at group level.
