Pros
I love working with a great group of people. We don't take ourselves to seriously and we work hard. Work life balance is great as people come in around 10am and the office is cleared out by 4 or 5.
Cons
I've been at Jellyvision for over 4 years and the thing that bugs me more than anything is working hard with the team to build the company while a few at the senior level focus on just building up themselves. When I first started at Jellyvision I couldn't believe the effort that our CEO Amanda Lannert put into having every employee, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers and step children vote for her to be Chicago's Moxie CEO of the year. For those of you who don't know, these awards are determined by both public voting and a panel of judges. She won CEO of the year in 2014 and 2015 but the sad part is that several of the judges on the panel were Amanda's besties. It's hard to stay proud to work for Jellyvision when the person at the top is focus on serving herself and gaming the system.
