Pros
-Very friendly, fun coworkers -Cool office with endless snacks -A lot of flexibility working from home and taking time off, the work/life balance is the greatest perk of this place and they're serious about it
Cons
The company boasts that they're transparent and spent all of Covid talking about goals they wanted everyone to hit in order for us to stay afloat. Goals were hit despite extraordinary measures, everyone worked themselves to the bone to keep Jellyvision alive during a pandemic, and then they did a secret layoff without telling the company. When it came out that the layoff occurred (only because a handful of brave employees spoke out about it), they said it was "performance based," which absolutely was not the case. This came after a layoff the year before that was also handled brutally, and which was promised never to happen again. At the end of the day, while they pose themselves as "different" and "the cool ones," they're just another corporation working their employees until they deem them unnecessary. Everyone understands the consequences of Covid, and layoffs may have been imminent, but they purposefully let employees work for them through the busy season while CONSTANTLY reassuring everyone their jobs were safe and then cut those employees with little thanks and assured them they would be "fine" with a 2 weeks notice in the middle of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Truly comical cutting people's health insurance while your mission is getting people insurance. Enter at your own risk.
