Pros
Opportunity to learn new things?
Cons
As others have mentioned, it’s an old predominantly white boys’ club. The office can feel a little ‘fratty’ overhearing some of the young men associates joke and jest, not to mention the topics and language used in the open office. You have to run around begging for billable hours. There is favoritism in these work assignments as well, due to the very nature of how they “assign” work here. I was hired as an engineer but they want me in sales. I feel pressure whenever I need sick time. They will hire you for a remote position, then Very Strongly Ask you to commute four days a week. It’s very easy to feel like a “troublemaker” when you’re actually just asking for the resources you need to do your job.
