Pros

Jimmy John's is a great place to work because of the great environment. The music is loud but not overwhelming, the crew is incredibly fast, and energy is never absent. Customers are greeted loudly as they enter the door making them feel important. A great manager knows how to make perfect bread which leads to awesome sandwiches made in just seconds. Jimmy John's is a fast-paced, energetic, and just simply a fun place to work.

Cons

Dealing with ignorant customers is always an issue in the foodservice industry. Jimmy John's has a sign that reads: "The customer is USUALLY right." They are almost never right, but you have to still take care of them. Lunch rushes can be extremely intense requiring all employees to be quick. Turnover can be high due to searching for fast employees that can handle the stress.

Pros

Good pay, if there aren't too many drivers, and you're at a good place for lunch, you can expect to make around $50 in tips per day or more, and get reimbursed for mileage. The people there can be hit or miss, some people can be very fun to work with and responsible.

Cons

The upper management can be lead with too many sensitive women, who don't know how to diagnose situations properly, and take the side of the immature employees who get offended way too easily. The co-workers can be very young and irresponsible, but this is par for the course for food places if you don't have strong leadership.
