Pros
Free food was abundant and the occasional employee outings were always top notch. Office amenities and equipment were of the highest quality. There are some great people within the company that made working there worth it.
Cons
Inconsistency in performance management and rewards for employees as well as a lack of structure for how these are determined, which leads to unfair treatment and an appearance of favoritism within the organization. Work-life balance was non-existent and the "required hours" of 8am-5pm were really more like 7:30am-6pm if you wanted to be considered a "dedicated employee". Very poor PTO and holiday schedules. Many hiring practices were discriminatory and the organization uses "cultural fit" as a cover-up for hiring young, attractive individuals only. Termination is used a sort of fear tactic to keep employees in line and following policy and procedures. Benefits plans are expensive and not competitive in any way.
